1. 我们收集什么数据
- 不收集个人信息：我们不收集、不存储、不上传您的姓名、邮箱、账号密码等任何个人身份信息。
- 不收集文本内容：您输入的待处理文字（润色、翻译、总结、改写、扩写的内容）仅通过浏览器直接发送给您配置的 AI API（如豆包/OpenAI），本扩展不会截获或存储这些内容。
- 本地存储的数据：以下信息仅保存在您的浏览器本地（Chrome Storage Local），不会上传至任何服务器：
- 每日免费使用次数（重置次数用）
- Pro版激活状态（布尔值）
- 您配置的 API 地址、模型名称、API Key
2. 数据如何传输
- AI 处理请求由您的浏览器直接发送至您配置的第三方 AI 服务商（默认：火山引擎豆包 API）。
- 本扩展不经过任何中间服务器，不会中转、记录或分析任何请求数据。
- 与第三方 API 的通信使用 HTTPS 加密传输。
3. 权限说明
- sidePanel：用于在 Chrome 侧边栏中显示插件界面。
- contextMenus：用于在网页选中文字后显示右键菜单。
- storage：用于在浏览器本地存储配置和用量信息。
- activeTab：用于获取当前网页的选中文字。
- scripting：用于从当前网页提取选中文字（仅在您点击按钮时触发）。
- clipboardRead：用于「粘贴」按钮读取剪贴板（仅在您点击按钮时触发）。
- host_permissions：用于在任意网页注入右键菜单和侧边栏，不访问网页内容。
4. 第三方服务
本扩展依赖您自行配置的第三方 AI API 服务商。您的文本数据将遵照该服务商的隐私政策处理。我们建议您查阅对应服务商的隐私政策。
5. 儿童隐私
本扩展不面向13岁以下儿童，我们不会故意收集儿童的个人信息。
6. 政策变更

Thank you for using XiaoXing AI Writing Assistant (the "Extension"). Your privacy matters to us. This policy clearly explains how your data is handled.
1. What We Collect
- No Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information such as names, emails, or passwords.
- No Text Content: The text you submit for processing (polish, translate, summarize, rewrite, expand) is sent directly from your browser to your configured AI API (e.g., Doubao). The Extension does not intercept or store this content.
- Local Storage Only: The following data is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage (Chrome Storage Local) and is never uploaded:
- Daily usage counter (for quota management)
- Pro activation status (boolean)
- Your API endpoint, model name, and API key
2. Data Transmission
- AI requests are sent directly from your browser to your configured third-party AI provider.
- The Extension does not route traffic through any intermediate server and does not log or analyze any request data.
- All API communication uses HTTPS encryption.
3. Permission Usage
- sidePanel — Display the extension UI in Chrome's side panel.
- contextMenus — Show right-click menu on selected text.
- storage — Store settings and usage data locally.
- activeTab — Access selected text on the current tab.
- scripting — Extract selected text when you click the button.
- clipboardRead — Paste from clipboard on button click only.
- host_permissions — Enable context menus and side panel on all pages.
4. Third-Party Services
The Extension relies on a third-party AI API service configured by you. Your text data is governed by that provider's privacy policy. We recommend reviewing it.
5. Children's Privacy
This Extension is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Changes
Significant changes to this policy will be communicated through extension update notes. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
